The Setup

Several months ago a friend of mine asked via his Facebook status update who would like to join him at a gig local to him in London, towards the end of the year. Jokingly, I said I would.

Apart from the obvious geographical hurdles I'd have to overcome to attend the gig, I hadn't seen this guy in a good six years. But his reply didn't take any of that into account.

Instead, he told me to sort out my travel, he'd sort out tickets.

And here I am some six months later, London bound...
Let's do this.
